WELCOME TO:

LAKEVIEW JERSEY DAIRY

We are a small Jersey Dairy farm located in the Ozakrs hills and hollers of MO.

Established in 1990 with just 13 Jersey heifers.

We build our dairy barn ourselves in the fall of 1989 and started with a level floor 4 stachion barn, we had to squat to milk, but did have automatic milkers.

After getting kicked in the knee by a cow in 1995 and knee surgery in 1996, we expanded to our barn and added a double 6 herringbone pit parlor.

Some years we have available for purchase around 20 head of heifers, some years we keep them to add to the miling string.

As of 2008, we are milking around 50 head and have 15 heifers to be bred in fall to our herd Jersey Bull.   We have 19 young heifers now weighing about 300#. 

In 2009 we will be selling all cows, heifers and calves and quitting milking and taking it easy in our senior years.
